YOUTHpreneur Gumball Machine Entrepreneurship Program

What can a gumball teach us about life? With YOUTHpreneur, it gives kids some serious financial literacy principles to chew on while letting them sample the sweet taste of entrepreneurial success. This seven-week program shows kids how to operate a successful business with an actual gumball machine, while instilling in them a sense of self-confidence and pride.

The It’s My BIZ Program contains everything to get a teen’s part-time business up and running, including professional guidance and practical advice. At the end of this step-by-step program the teen will have completed their very own Business Plan.

Financial Literacy Program

It’s My Time to Thrive is a modular program that teaches the principles of financial literacy and incorporates the ThriveTime for Teens Board Game.

Learning Objectives:

  • Examining the differences between Good Debt and Bad Debt
  • Understanding the financial impact of buying a car
  • Identifying effective financings strategies for college
  • Identifying ways to manage money
  • Practicing Presentation Skills (BE FAB)
  • Understanding how to use credit cards wisely
  • Experiencing the importance of giving back
